Bakery Technology Supervisor

Job Summary

The Bakery Technology Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Bakery Technology unit at UIRI and ensuring that the unit’s objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all activities in the Bakery Technology unit to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes.
  2. Train, mentor, and manage production and support staff in the Bakery Technology unit.
  3. Oversee implementation of GMPs, GHPs and other quality management protocols in the unit.
  4. Provide oversight to UIRI’s satellite Bakery establishments
  5. Maintain plant records relating to supplies, inventory, and production.
  6. Prepare work plans, budgets, requisitions and reports for the unit
  7. Any other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, Bakery Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bakery operations or food production environment.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role is highly desirable.
