Empowering Youth in Tooro Kingdom

Home - Blog Detail

A brighter future unfolds in a significant milestone, 48 youths from Tooro Kingdom have successfully completed our comprehensive 2-month Training of Trainers (ToT) Program. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to empowering young leaders with practical skills, unlocking their potential, and fostering a brighter future.

During the program, these enthusiastic youths acquired hands-on experience in:

  • Electrical Installations
  • Welding & Fabrication
  • Woodwork
  • Bakery

The primary objective of the ToT program is to equip these young leaders with the expertise to train and empower other youths at the Fort Portal Training Center and surrounding communities. By doing so, we aim to tackle the pressing issue of unemployment and create a positive impact on the lives of youths in Fort Portal City.

This initiative is a result of our ongoing partnership with Tooro Kingdom, which has enabled us to train multiple groups of youths prior to this one. Together, we have made significant strides in addressing unemployment among young people, and we look forward to continuing this impactful work.
