The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services Division at Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI) plays a crucial role in enabling technological integration and innovation across the institute. The Business Development Centre (BDC) under the ICT Services Division offers tailored services to empower businesses at various stages of their growth. The center provides guidance, training, and ICT adoption strategies to facilitate industrialization and entrepreneurship in Uganda.
Assistance with generating and refining business ideas, researching, and developing comprehensive business plans.
Strategic development and records management.
ICT skills training to enhance business operations.
People in Industry: Businesses providing products or services at startup, small, or medium enterprise levels.
Businesses under Incubation: Enterprises in UIRI’s incubation program.
General Public: Individuals or organizations seeking business development and ICT-related services.
Express Interest: Submit a letter or email expressing interest in any of the services offered by the BDC. Letters should be addressed to the Business Development Centre Coordinator and delivered to UIRI’s reception. Alternatively, send an email to bdcinfo@uiri.go.ug.
Follow-Up: After receiving your communication, the BDC team will contact you within two days to schedule an appointment for further discussion and guidance.
