1. The Uganda Industrial Research Institute intends to dispose of 3 old double cabin Vehicles, 2 station Wagons, 2 Bowl cutter machines and 1 vaccum sealer. The above asset(s) are sold on an “as is, where is” basis and the Uganda Industrial Research Institute will have no further liability after sale.
2. The Uganda Industrial Research Institute now invites sealed bids for the purchase of the above asset(s).
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the sale through the public bidding method- “by Sealed Bids” contained under the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 as amended in 2014 and is open to the public.
4. Interested bidders may inspect the asset(s) at the location indicated in 7(a) starting on Thursday the 19th October 2023 at 9:00am to 4.30pm for inspection and will close on Friday 20th October 2023.
5. The bidding documents may be inspected by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address indicated in 7(b).
6. Bids must be delivered to the address indicated in 7(c) at or before Tuesday 24th October 2023 at 10:00am. Late bids shall be rejected.
