On March 12th, 2025, the Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI) had the pleasure of hosting a 35 Member Delegation from Operation Wealth Creation (OWC). The study visit aimed to explore potential areas of mutual partnership and collaboration. Professor Charles Kwesiga, ED UIRI , delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting UIRI's pivotal role in Uganda's industrial space. The delegation was also taken on a guided tour of UIRI's state-of-the-art facilities at Namanve, showcasing the institute's capabilities and expertise. This visit marks an exciting opportunity for UIRI and OWC to forge a strong partnership, driving industrial growth, innovation, and wealth creation in Uganda.
