The Bakery Technology Supervisor oversees operations of the Bakery Technology unit at UIRI and ensures the unit's objectives are met.
Duties
Key responsibilities
- 01Oversee activities in the Bakery Technology unit to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes.
- 02Train, mentor and manage production and support staff in the Bakery Technology unit.
- 03Oversee implementation of GMPs, GHPs and other quality management protocols.
- 04Provide oversight to UIRI's satellite bakery establishments.
- 05Maintain plant records relating to supplies, inventory and production.
- 06Prepare work plans, budgets, requisitions and reports for the unit.
- 07Perform any other duties as may be assigned.
Eligibility
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology, Bakery Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in bakery operations or a food production environment.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role is highly desirable.
